Well thanks to money.co.uk, a free online financial comparison service, you can now work out how long it would take you to save up for your favourite celebrity homes.
The newly launched online calculator estimates that you would save 25% of your salary and then works out how many years it would take you to save the amount needed.
I think it’s safe to say that we’ve all thought about living in Justin Bieber’s £18.6m home, or Ariana Grande’s £9.9m mansion. Now we can see whether it’s just a dream, or whether we should start finding the contact details for their agents…
According to Cosmopolitan, the average UK salary is £31, 461. We’ve used this number to show you how much it would be to own your favourite celebrity houses.
Beyonce and Jay-Z’s Bel Air mansion is estimated to cost approximately £63m. Based on the average UK salary, it would take 8,072 years to save up enough money to afford this house.
To be able to buy Justin Bieber’s mansion which is located in the mountains above Beverly Hills, it would take 2,367 years! His home is estimated to be worth an impressive £18.6m!
Kylie Jenner lives in the Holmby Hills and her property is estimated to cost an impressive £26.3m! This house comes with 14 bathrooms, 20 parking spaces and its own bar! Wouldn’t it be amazing to own a house like this? It’s a shame it would take 3348 years to be able to have to money saved to buy it.
Some of our favourite celebrities live in the UK too. Ed Sheeran has reportedly invested in 27 different properties around the world, but he spends most of his time at his £3.7m Suffolk estate which he calls “Sheeranville”. ‘Sheeranville’ sounds like just the place we want to live, however it would take us 470 years to be able to afford this property.
Looks like we won’t be living the A-list celebrity lifestyle anytime soon…
